Welcome to Sin Forgiver

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Syntax Circus, LLC ("we," "us," and "our") governing your use of the Sin Forgiver app, website, and related services.

Sin Forgiver is parody entertainment. It is not clergy, religious counseling, therapy, legal advice, or a real-world spiritual service. Every certificate, message, and forgiveness reference is fictional, comedic, and for entertainment only.

Who can use Sin Forgiver

You must be at least 13 years old to use an account-based Sin Forgiver experience. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Do not use Sin Forgiver where doing so would violate applicable law.

Your account and access

Some features work through device-based access, while others require sign-in through a supported provider. Keep control of your device and sign-in methods, use accurate information where it is required, and let us know if you believe your access has been compromised. We may limit or suspend access that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with these Terms.

Purchases, certificates, and refunds

Sin Forgiver offers paid digital entertainment items, including novelty forgiveness certificates and related in-app content. A purchase is not a purchase of religious, legal, therapeutic, or spiritual services. Delivery may depend on your platform, network, account, and service availability.

The applicable app store or payment provider processes purchases, cancellations, and refunds under its own terms. We do not promise refunds beyond what that provider allows. Certificates and related content are for personal entertainment use only: do not resell them or present them as genuine religious credentials, legal documents, or official records.

Use the service responsibly

Do not use Sin Forgiver for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes. Do not interfere with the service or another person's access, bypass payment, entitlement, or authentication systems, impersonate someone else, or suggest that Sin Forgiver provides genuine religious authority or guaranteed outcomes.

Changes, availability, and ending access

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, catalog items, prices, certificate formats, or supported platforms. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, permanent feature availability, or error-free operation.

You may stop using Sin Forgiver at any time. You can request account closure through the published account-closure path. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms or created a legal, security, or product risk.

Privacy and intellectual property

Your use of Sin Forgiver is also subject to our Privacy Policy. Sin Forgiver's software, branding, design, certificates, artwork, and other content are owned by or licensed to us and protected by law. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for personal, non-commercial entertainment.

Disclaimers and limits on liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sin Forgiver is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Syntax Circus, LLC and its suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, use, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from the service. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service during the 12 months before the claim or US$100. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Sin Forgiver changes. We will post the updated version and effective date here. If a change requires renewed acceptance, you will need to accept the new version before using the affected account-based features.

Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Utah, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
